INSPIRATION

NATURE

About 10 years ago I began making jewelry constructed from materials I love such as ethnic beads, semi-precious stones, wood and leather. I have added elements with new skills in metalworking, copper-enameling and ceramic jewelry making.  While creating this somewhat unconventional jewelry, my passion for design, simplicity and everyday wearability still makes me happy.

I am obsessed with visual stimulation-color, pattern, shape.  Sources of inspiration come from my global adventures and a deep connection with design in nature. While I make many of the components, the end process often involves combining and playing with materials until the “aha” moment when my dendrites dance and the piece is ready.
